Yesterday, I went for a walk along the Humber and saw “my” bridge at the Old Mill. My bridge is made of stone with rounded supports underneath, built with the arches perfected 2000 years ago by the Romans. It reflects my values: my love of history, beauty, and the natural setting.
What does your bridge look like? Think about what’s important to you that you want to share with the world around you. You start to see the outer appearance of the bridge is how you present yourself.
Now, consider the bridge’s construction, your inner self. You want to ensure:
- your bridge is solidly built;
- it’s safe to cross it; and
- you know what’s on the other side.

Let’s build bridges.
